DB SCOUTING ANALYSIS

Tidiane Diallo

18 years · Montpellier · DC / DG / MDC

Tidiane Diallo presents a relatively rare profile as a left-footed centre-back capable of taking significant responsibility in the first phase of build-up. Across the supplied matches, his signature is clear: availability on the left side of the back line, high passing volume, a willingness to find forward solutions and strong interception activity. His progression through the age groups is coherent, while the club also documents qualities of impact, power and leadership. The main area of caution concerns the risk-reward balance in his distribution: when he attempts an overly ambitious pass or takes one action too many, he can expose his team. His aerial involvement is high, but the outcome remains inconsistent. Pure speed is not rated because sprint data is unavailable. The profile fits the requirements of a modern left-sided build-up centre-back; progression to professional level will depend mainly on defensive consistency, greater simplicity under pressure and his ability to defend space in behind against faster and more powerful forwards.
